COVID 19 has proved to be pandemic. Almost all countries are suffering due to this virus and it has locked down everything in a majority of the continents. Thousands of people are losing lives and science is on its knees at the moment. Of course, scientists all across the world are trying to get its vaccination, but as per the experts, it may take months to get an effective vaccine. The situation is tragic and sad. It is tough to see people dying or locked down in their houses to save themselves. However, there is no clear solution to save lives by controlling its spread yet.
If you have marriage on the card and the marriage date is coming close, then this is the time to take some wise decisions. The tips I am going to share completely depend on the situation in your region due to Coronavirus.
1. Postpone your wedding
If your wedding is within the next 30 days, the best idea would postpone it. In many countries, the mass gathering is prohibited. In fact, lockdowns are imposed. Thus, you cannot gather guests or even cannot go to the court for a civil marriage ceremony. If you had thought of having a destination wedding, then let me tell you, in a majority of countries, international flights are banned. Also, in many countries, there is a complete lockdown or curfew. Thus, anyways, the wedding ceremony cannot take place. Nobody knows what would happen in a nearer future, but one thing is assured that it is not easy to get rid of this deadly virus and it will take time to get out of this pandemic. Thus, our advice is to postpone your wedding. We have already postponed destination weddings for some of our customers who had pre-registered civil marriage in Denmark with our services.
2. Have a safe and private wedding ceremony
If the situation is not worst in your region and still you are not facing many COVID 19 cases, then you can have your wedding, but follow some safety measures such as:
- Do not invite guests. Have a private wedding ceremony.
- Make sure to keep 3-meter distance between people who are present at the wedding who can be your close family members.
- Carry sanitizer along with you and keep cleaning your hands regularly. Also, ask your guests to do the same, if you have any.
- Do not touch face in any case.
- Do not eat anything without cleaning hands thoroughly
Our advice is to postpone the wedding because even if things are not bad in your area, we never know what would happen next. Thus, it is better to be safe. Also, the world is fighting a battle with death and it would not add that happiness on your special day as it should. Thus, please wait until the situation gets under control.
